National College of Ireland’s Career Development & Employability Service was last night recognised for its hard work and innovation at the 10th annual gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards, which took place in The Mansion House, Dublin.
NCI, which has a stellar record for graduate employability, scooped the prestigious Excellence in Employability Award – an honour the college was also awarded in 2013 and 2014.
The event was attended by more than 500 guests, including government and business leaders, along with postgraduate course providers across Ireland, and is a key event in the HR and recruitment calendar.
This year the NCI careers team were delighted to share the stage with Robert Beirne, a graduate of the college’s BA in Technology Management course, who won Graduate Employee of the Year for his contribution to Lidl Ireland.
It was a busy day for NCI's Career Development & Employability Service, who yesterday hosted a discussion at the college with the Association of Higher Education Careers Services (AHECS) on ‘Graduate Employability and the future of work’.
