NCI's mission is to change lives through education.

As a college we strive to motivate and inspire and to facilitate change. As we enter a new academic year, National College of Ireland will further develop this mission by launching a new programme, the MA in Personal Leadership and Pastoral Care.

Perhaps more than any other programme, this Master’s Degree personifies the very core of our values and celebrates our vision to provide inspiring educational experiences that are innovative, responsive and enterprise focused. In building this course, we wanted to offer an authentic experience for students who aspire to be leaders, leaders not only in their communities, but in schools, care settings or diverse teams.

For this reason, the MA in Personal Leadership and Pastoral Care has been created by experts in leadership, theology, faith and human relations to facilitate the development of professional skills appropriate to Leadership and Pastoral Care in a variety of professional contexts. The programme is designed to assist students to engage with and understand relevant aspects of the disciplines of sociology, psychology, spirituality and applied theology. Combined, these disciplines invite the learner to reflect on his or her full potential whilst simultaneously providing a platform to develop skills that will allow them to act as personal leaders in their chosen careers.

If you would like to find out more about this innovative course and meet the lecturers, why not join us for our next open event on the 27th of August from 10.45am – 2.00pm, where faculty members will be available to discuss the programme with you over a cup of tea or coffee.

Alternatively, read more about the course, or call (01) 6599245 with any questions.
