Yesterday saw the Early Learning Initiative at NCI launch their new report: Building Hope for Brighter Futures (PDF). The report used restorative practices that saw young people from the north east inner city discuss their views on the future of their community.
Among their recommendations for the future, the children and young people said they would like to see the community have all green schools, encouragement to go on to third-level education and more jobs for the young people in the area. They would also like help from the government and Dublin City Council to keep the area clean and create more green spaces.
