NCI President Travels to Mexico

National College of Ireland builds partnership with Mexican university NCI President Dr Phillip Matthews has signed an agreement with ITESO, Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara in Mexico, witnessed by the Irish and Mexican Presidents (photo first tweeted by the Embassy of Ireland in Mexico). Dr Matthews was also quoted in the Irish Times (23/10/13) as he "‘described Mexico as a very new market for university partnerships." So the college was "breaking new ground and getting there early" by signing an agreement with ITESO, the Jesuit College of Guadalajara.

David Gentle, Fujitsu, speaks on Entering the New Tech Era David Gentle, Director of Foresight at Fujitsu spoke at a breakfast event this week organised by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. His talk, which was part of Dublin Chamber’s SMART series, was entitled Entering the New Tech Era and looked at how technology is enabling businesses to operate in new ways.
