From the Media & Marketing section of the Sunday Business Post, August 16th 2015, by Colette Sexton: The National College of Ireland’s brand was designed to emphasise the practicality of its courses and promotes its closeness to industry, according to its marketing team. The college’s advertising campaign ramps up throughout the summer months, using real-life testimonials from different types of students across all media: print, TV, video on demand, cinema, digital, radio and outdoor. The college, based in Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre, also runs a programme of events throughout the summer at its city centre campus, intended to help people progress in their education and career. It has a strong focus on inbound marketing: the NCI blog and website, ncirl.ie, are regularly updated with new content and it has a presence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. NCI’s Schools of Business and Computing have both introduced several new courses this year including a part-time BA Honours in Psychology, BA Honours in Early Childhood Education and BA Honours in Technology Management. There was specific advertising activity to support these along with the suite of courses NCI is offering free-of-charge to jobseekers, under Springboard+. Griffith College, DCU,and the University of Limerick are also featured in the article. Interested in marketing and branding? Check out our top tips for how to get ahead in marketing, navigating the marketing interview maze, or take the next step with NCI's MSc in Marketing or BA Honours in Marketing Practice.
