This September, a new opportunity was available to those completing Accelerated Business Degrees in Business Management or HRM Strategy and Practice to progress directly to postgraduate study by applying for a scholarship to join our MBA degree covering full tuition fees for the two-year course. We recently spoke with a former student, Harisankar Kalathil Salim, who graduated from the MSc in Cybersecurity programme. He shared his incredible journey, from being a below-average student with no clear goals to becoming a successful cybersecurity professional. Keep reading below to hear his experience.

Pablo Periañez Cabrero completed his bachelor’s degree in software engineering at the University of Seville, and then continued to study, pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science at University College Dublin. In September 2025, after completing his master’s degree, Pablo began working as a Technology Consultant at one of the Big 4, as part of the Systems Engineering team. The team is responsible for building, managing, and maintaining mission-critical applications. These transformations are normally meant to increase productivity in different areas of the business.

Data Science is the study of the processes needed to analyse data using statistics, computer science and domain knowledge. Utilising these tools, data scientists can discover patterns and trends leading to deeper meaning and knowledge for areas such as business, healthcare and technology.
