Missed out on the first instalment of NCI’s Go Further sessions? Not to worry, we’ve got the highlights of the evening right here.

Final year students at National College of Ireland recently showcased their work to potential employers, at this year’s computing project showcase. Employers from companies including Groupon, AOL, SAP, Betbright and Citigroup flocked to NCI’s Dublin city-centre campus to check out the best in graduate talent.

Interested in studying Accounting and Finance but wondering what the career prospects are like? Meet NCI final year student Laura Kelly, who recently secured herself a graduate role with PWC. Laura, who is due to graduate later this year with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance particularly enjoyed the community aspect of NCI. Speaking about her time at National College of Ireland Laura told us how the careers team at NCI played a significant role in her efforts to secure a graduate role after college. "They're just amazing, Aoife and Caroline are so helpful. They will help you with C.V's, interviews and your LinkedIn". Although we here at here at NCI will be sad to see Laura go, We're delighted to see yet another graduate secure employment soon after graduation. National College of Ireland recently hosted its annual careers fair which saw some of Ireland’s biggest companies in attendance. The careers fair - always an important date in NCI’s calendar - saw an array of indigenous and multinational companies attend with one clear goal: to meet and recruit the best in graduate talent.

The Governing Body of National College of Ireland is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Gina Quin to the position of President to succeed outgoing President Dr Phillip Matthews. Ms Quin joins NCI from her highly successful position as CEO of Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

On Wednesday 25th May 2016 (12 noon - 2pm), National College of Ireland is delighted to extend an open invite to industry to come along and check out our talented students, at NCI’s Tech Project Showcase 2016.
