Last Friday, 18th November, was the annual graduation day for National College of Ireland. Held in the Dublin Convention Centre, 2013 students graduated from 81 qualifications in full and part-time courses in business, computing, psychology, finance, accounting, marketing and HR. Over two ceremonies, 634 undergraduate awards were conferred, and 1369 post–graduate awards, in front of family and friends. Check out the photographs on the NCI Facebook page!

Graduation is our favourite day in the college calendar. Colette Darcy, our Vice Dean of the School of Business, likened it to Christmas – and she wasn’t kidding. It’s a day to celebrate the success and achievements of our students, who we have watched develop and progress throughout their time with us. Enjoy these messages from NCI’s lecturers and staff, and don’t forget: you’ll always be part of the NCI family. Make sure you stay in touch!

In case you missed it, NCI's open day on November 23rd was featured in today's Irish Independent: National College of Ireland is preparing to welcome students from schools across the country to its biggest and best open days yet.

It’s no surprise that #MotivationMonday is a popular hashtag: we all need a bit of cheering up as we return to the office, after the freedom of the weekend. But for most of us, it takes more than fridge magnet platitudes to give us the motivation we need to tackle the week ahead.
